COACHING

Kelly James

OT, NBC-HWC

Kelly James holds a bachelor's in science in Occupational Therapy and a Master's of Divinity in Christian Theology both of which she utilized working in the acute care hospital setting for over 20 years and as a college and women's minister for 13 years. 

Kelly has been practicing as a health and wellness coach in Precision Medicine since January 2020, and is nationally board certified through the NBC-WHC. She holds specialty training in heart rate variability and mindfulness competing the mindfulness based stress reduction course from the University of Massachusetts.  She is in the process of completing a 10 month certification in Women's Health.

In her spare time, Kelly loves to run with friends, cook healthy meals, serve with her women's ministry team at church, read and loves the occasional solitaire game! Her favorite titles she holds are that of wife and mom.  She has been married to Chad for 25 years and has 3 teens - Riley, Jake and Claire which are her favorites. Riley is in her college marching band playing marimba and Jake and Claire run cross country and track - so you will find Kelly on all kinds of fields in her spare time. Just the best!

COACHING, MENTORING

Jen Collier

NBC-HWC, MAPP-CP student

After graduating summa cum laude with a BA in Psychology from Texas State University, San Marcos, Jen was certified as a Master Health Coach through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute. She is currently pursuing an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology at the University of East London. She is also in the application process for her ICF PCC-level credential. Upon completion of her MSc, she will be eligible for the Senior Practitioner Accreditation through the EMCC.

Jen has been a credentialed NBC-HWC since February 2021 and has over 600 direct coaching hours. She has coached hundreds of traditional and non-traditional students at universities across the US, including Harvard, Carnegie Mellon, Northwestern, and Notre Dame. Additionally, she is the Lead Lecturer and curriculum designer at an NBHWC-accredited program, where she trains physicians, nurses, and other up-and-coming coaches in coaching skills, techniques, and theory. Through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute, she also holds coaching certifications for Adults and Seniors, Families, and Pregnancy.

Jen has 15 years of ministry experience leading women’s ministry, worship teams, and supporting church planters. Sprinkled throughout, Jen also spent 10 years molding and educating children, exploring nutrition and culinary arts, mentoring women and teens, and training in various martial arts. During that time, she co-founded Hutto Has Heart, a nonprofit coalition of businesses and organizations that help meet the needs of residents in Hutto, TX, and served as Financial Chairperson for the Orange Santa program. She values excellence in education, high-functioning communities, empowered clients, and self-directed motivation.

Jen is passionate about helping others take control of their health and live satisfying daily lives.
